WELCOME!

Welcome to the world of Inland Empire Mensa (IEM). If you are a new member, potential candidate for membership, or an established member of IEM, this is your resource for IEM information. Please take a moment to browse through our pages and links, catch up on back issues of our award-winning newsletter, i.e., find out about upcoming events, and get to know IEM.

BECOME A MEMBER OF THE IEM FAMILY

Joining Mensa is easier than you might think! We have members ranging in age from 3 to 105. There are 2 options available to qualify for membership.

Option 1: If you are 14 or older, you may take the supervised Mensa Admission Exam.

Option 2: You may submit evidence of a prior supervised test score e.g., Stanford Binet or GMAT. For a complete list of acceptable prior evidence of test scores, go to www.us.mensa.org. Click on the Qualify for Mensa tab for an application to review your prior evidence test scores.

If you score in the top 2% of either option you will qualify for membership in American Mensa.

  • Mensa testing is usually held on the second Saturday morning of each month at various locations throughout the Inland Empire region. The cost for testing is $40.00.

  • You may only take this test ONCE, so be sure you get lots of sleep and are ready to test.

  • A test for citizens of other cultures is available. These must be specially ordered, so please notify our Testing Coordinator, Ms. Lee Hansen, at iemensa@att.net, well in advance if you wish to take this version.

  • If you are ready to schedule a testing date in your area, our Testing Coordinator will contact you directly. Please send an email to iemensa@att.net.

  • If you are located outside the Inland Empire Mensa area, click here:
